The Lincolnshire Environmental Awards for environmental excellence have been given every year since 1993. They are designed to recognise and celebrate the inspiring activities that are helping to improve the environment and encourage sustainability.
If you, your business or local community has introduced positive changes that really make a difference to the quality of life in our region, not only for us but for generations to come, then you should enter the awards. By doing so you may inspire others to follow in your footsteps.
Your project needs to demonstrate a positive contribution to the environment through, for example, caring for the natural environment, improving use of resources, reducing pollution or increasing environmental understanding. Entries can be from projects that have just started or those that have been running for some time. They can be in town or country, wide ranging or focused on a single issue.
Awards are made to:
» Individuals (nominations are welcome)
» Businesses (including industry and commercial organisations)
» Voluntary and Community Groups (Clubs, societies, village projects etc) » Agricultural establishments and Rural Enterprises
- in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North-East Lincolnshire.
Young people aged 16 years and under can enter the Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Awards.
If you know anyone who deserves an award, let us know and they could be a winner. |
