Deadline for Entries 2010

Entries in the Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Award 2010 should be submitted by 30 April 2010.

Unfortunately, due to difficulties in attracting sponsorship, the adult section of the award scheme for community groups, farmers and businesses, cannot be run in 2010.

WREN
WREN is pleased to be able to sponsor the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards competition because we wish to support any activity and initiative that is aimed at improving the quality of life and environment for the local community.
WREN is the UK's largest Environmental Body and has funded over 3000 community projects across much of the UK with over £50 million since 1998.
WREN distributes Landfill Tax credits to community and environmental projects within ten miles of landfill sites owned by Waste Recycling Group Ltd.
WREN operates over most of the county of Lincolnshire. Projects applying for grants from WREN are assessed by an individual panel of locally based experts for their suitability, sustainability and community benefit.
